Journeys of Life Opening Reception

About this event

Celebrate the opening of this exhibition curated by the Drake University students of Dr. Sascha Crasnow’s Curatorial Seminar. The budding curators worked with local artists from Mainframe Studios. The exhibition includes work by Lainey Beck, Pamela Douglas, Joshua Hall, Linda Lewis, Chad Miller, Jennifer Miller, Lydia Nong, Jess Quinn, Audrey Stirling, Cassandra Tant, and Andrea Van Wyk. The works in this exhibition look inward to the self, embrace community, and explore parallels in and relationships to the natural world, while simultaneously questioning how time and memory shape what we hold onto. Opening is free and open to all and light refreshments will be served. The exhibition Journeys of Life will run from Nov 5 to Dec 18.
