11-14 | Meet the Author - Kelly Crull

About this event

Look out! A prehistoric adventure awaits in this humorous, action-packed exploration of dinosaurs from the past (and the present!) in this picture book from National Geographic Kids.

Something just hatched! It has sharp claws, a long tail, and spikes on top of its head … which dino could it be?

Is it a giant Argentinosaurus? A fearsome T. rex? Maybe it’s a gentle Diplodocus. Each turn of the page offers a photographic clue, along with cool dino facts. Parts of the creature’s body are revealed one by one until the final surprising conclusion. (Spoiler alert: This dinosaur is a chicken!)

The final pages of this whimsical, playfully illustrated picture book explain the amazing discovery that today’s birds (including chickens!) are dinosaurs! Kids will love reexamining the book to find the hidden clues.

Perfect for dino lovers of all ages, this laugh-out-loud learning adventure will be enjoyed again and again!
