- ➤ Seven outdoor yoga events will be held across the Des Moines metro this summer, running from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend with sessions at parks, a taproom, and a local farm for all skill levels. - ➤ Pilot Travel Center in Urbandale now sells B99 biodiesel that blends only a tenth of a percent petroleum diesel; PepsiCo will fill its Des Moines fleet from the new dual-pump terminal, and soybean farmer Dave Walton said the fuel cuts particulate matter by 90% over petroleum diesel — marking a major step for lower carbon emissions. - ➤ A central Iowa mom said she feels more secure sending her kids to school after Gov. Reynolds signed a new law that requires school staff to learn seizure first aid. The law takes effect July 1 and mandates all staff to complete training by Dec. 31 (House File 835) (signed Tuesday). KCCI
