- ➤ An adult man was seriously injured after being stabbed in the neck near East 14th Street around 3 p.m. on Monday; police apprehended a fleeing suspect — the investigation remains ongoing. WHO13

- ➤ Rain is making the Central Iowa morning commute wet so drivers are asked to slow down and allow extra travel time as the DOT confirms no accidents; tonight, I-35/80 northbound lanes will be closed from the West Mixmaster to Rider Corner and Tuesday night Fleur Drive will shut down from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.—detours are set to help motorists avoid delays.
