- ➤ The Des Moines Concours d’Elegance will display over 120 classic cars and host family-friendly activities at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park on Sunday, Sept. 7, with donations supporting Children’s Cancer Connection—food vendors, merchandise sales and games will also be available. KCCI
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Iowa DOT Aviation Director Tim McClung said eight commercial airports have seen a 17% rise in passengers since 2022 as more travelers return to flying. Des Moines and Cedar Rapids airports have recorded the highest increases and several other airports are upgrading their terminals—improvements that will help manage growing travel demand. Radio Iowa

- ➤ Representative Zach Nunn co-sponsored a bill that aims to modernize federal rural housing programs—improving home repair funding and speeding up USDA loan reviews.
