ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ West Des Moines secured a $5 million state grant to help expand the MidAmerican RecPlex with a new $40 million arena and convention center slated to host over 3,000 spectators. The project will add 100,000 square feet of space including a grab & go market concession stand and is expected to finish construction by January 2027. Des Moines Register
