- ➤ The Highland Happening Vintage Market in Highland Park celebrated its third anniversary on Sunday with local vendors, food trucks, and activities organized by Divine Times Vintage—vendors sold vintage and vintage-inspired clothing, artwork, and jewelry both inside and outside the shop. Owner Jerrica Yasumura said the market was her favorite day of the year and noted it was the most successful event for many vendors. KCCI

- ➤ KCCI celebrated several regional Emmy wins Saturday night and recognized team members for their work in diversity and weather coverage. Retired Director of Photography Cortney Kintzer was inducted into the Gold Circle—an honor for media professionals with 50 years of service. KCCI
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Thousands of runners braved a chilly fall morning as they ran the 24th annual IMT Des Moines Marathon on October 19th, starting at Fourth Street and Court Avenue and passing scenic areas like East Village and Western Gateway Park—cheered on by family and friends. Runner Kevin Cooper recalled last year's warm race while Brian Terhark supported his daughter, adding a heartfelt boost to every athlete. KCCI
