- ➤ Hy-Vee donated $100,000 to Feeding America partner food banks in the region and gave $25,000 to a DoorDash initiative that waived delivery fees for customers on food assistance orders—this fee waiver is valid for one order. KCCI
- ➤ Terry Cunha—spokesman for the operator—said the illuminated Holiday Train will visit ten Iowa communities from November 24th to November 26th, stopping for free 30-minute concerts featuring Smash Mouth and J.J Wilde. The Calgary-based railroad will work with local non-profits to collect nonperishable food donations at each stop to support food banks. Radio Iowa

- ➤ The Iowa Lottery ended its first fiscal quarter with sales up 15.03% through September—boosted by a 1.77 billion-dollar Powerball jackpot that made that week the fifth highest in its 40-year history.
