AAA-Iowa warns drivers not to stop in traffic for selfies while families enjoy holiday light displays, advising that if drivers want to snap pictures they should pull over to a safe spot before taking pictures.

On Dec. 24, a young girl named Brynlee visited Waukee police & firefighters with her mom to deliver cookies and spread holiday cheer.

Officials thanked her in a Facebook post for brightening their day.
